Campus Traffic Alert

On Sunday, February 17th, UHCL will be hosting the Sugar and Spice All Women’s Marathon event from 6:00AM – 1:00PM. In support of this event, there will be several campus entrance and street closures.

  • Entrance 1 will be closed from 6:00AM – 1:00PM. No entry or egress will be allowed at any time during this period.
  • Entrance 2 will be partially closed from 6:00AM – 1:00PM. A police officer will be stationed at the entrance allowing access to ONLY those individuals who display UHCL Identification. All those entering through Entrance 2 will be directed to park in Lot B or the Visitor’s Lot (Lot R). Individuals entering through Entrance 2 will also have to depart through Entrance 2 until the campus re-opens fully.
  • Entrance 3 will be closed from 5:30AM – 8:00AM. Once Entrance 3 re-opens anyone entering through Entrance 3MUST park in Lot D. There will be no through traffic on Bayou Road. Individuals entering through Entrance 3 will also have to depart through Entrance 3 until the campus re-opens fully.

TO ACCESS Bayou, SSCB or NOA, you must use Entrance 2 or 3 as prescribed above.

TO ACCESS Arbor or Delta, you must enter on Graduate Drive from Bay Area Blvd.

Vehicles will not be allowed to travel through the campus between 6:00AM – 1:00PM.
