Hispanic Heritage Month!

The Office of Intercultural Student Services (ISS) commemorates Hispanic Heritage Month at UHCL with a series of events. These events are open to students, faculty, staff, and community members of all ethnic backgrounds.  Mark your calendars and make plans to attend all or any of the following events during the second week of Hispanic Heritage Month:
 
Monday, September 23 (B1213) from 1PM – 3PM Film and Discussion, “Granito: How to Nail a Dictator” presenter, Dr. Christine Kovic.
Tuesday, September 24 (Atrium I) from 11AM – 5PM Farmers Market co-sponsored by Bilingual Education Student Organization, Delta Xi Nu, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Hispanics Advancing Culture, Education, and Roots.
Wednesday, September 25 (Atrium I) from 4PM – 6PM “Painting on Canvas: Culture vs. Heritage” presenter Laura Lopez Cano.
*Also take advantage and visit our Hispanic Book, Flag and Folk Art Exhibit from September 16-October 15, 2013.
