Cyber Security Institute course: ‘Fundamentals of Information Security’

WHAT: Learn to protect data in the course “Fundamentals of Information Security” from the UHCL Cyber Security Institute. The course covers a variety of topics about security layers, authentication, authorization, accounting, security policies, network security and protecting the server and client.
Content in the course also prepares participants to become a (ISC)2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner or to earn CompTIA Security+ Certification.
The course requires no prerequisites. The fee is $1,350, with some discounts available for registering early. This is a four-part Network Management and Security program, and the sessions may be taken as a package for $5,050, which includes a $500 discount. UHCL alumni, employees and students also receive an additional discount.
