MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT: Evelyn Miralles departs UHCL

Dear Faculty and Staff,

I am writing today to notify you that Ms. Evelyn Miralles, Associate Vice President for Strategic Information Initiatives & Technology, is departing the university on May 3, 2022. Ms. Miralles is an alumna of the university, having earned her Bachelor of Arts in Computer Information Systems in 1992 and a Master of Business Administration in 2012. She spent much of her career in the aerospace industry and joined the university in 2019.

We are appreciative of all Ms. Miralles has done for UHCL over the past three years. She has been an ardent supporter of student success and played an integral role in the development of the Institute for Human and Planetary Sustainability (IHAPS). I would personally like to wish her the best of success in all future endeavors.
